Park Time
Privacy Policy

The short version. Park Time is built to respect your privacy. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking across other apps or websites. We don't sell your data, and we collect as little as we can — only what's needed to show wait times and deliver the alerts you ask for.
This policy explains what Park Time ("the app", "we", "us") collects and why. Park Time is published by DaMtech Limited. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@parktimeapp.com.
Information we collect
Your favourite parks. The parks you favourite are stored locally on your device. They stay on your phone and are not sent to us.
Wait time alerts. If you set an alert on a ride, we store what's needed to deliver it: the park and ride, your chosen threshold, an anonymous identifier generated on your device, and a push notification token from our notification provider. This identifier is a random value — it is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID, and we have no way to identify you from it.
Anonymous usage analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example, how many people favourite parks, or which screens are opened). This data is anonymised and is not used to track or identify individuals.
Purchases. If you leave an optional tip, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.
Information we do not collect
- No name, email address, or account — Park Time doesn't ask you to sign up.
- No precise or background location. The app never requests location access.
- No advertising identifiers and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Third-party services
Park Time relies on a few trusted services to function. Each receives only what it needs:

Push notifications
Notifications are only sent for alerts you set up yourself. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device's Settings, and you can remove individual alerts from the My Alerts screen in the app.
Data retention & deletion
Alert settings are kept only while the alert is active. One-time alerts are deleted automatically once they've notified you, and you can delete any alert yourself at any time. To request deletion of any data associated with your device, email support@parktimeapp.com.
Your rights (UK & EU)
DaMtech Limited is the data controller for the limited information described above. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — ask whether we hold data relating to your device and request a copy.
- Rectification — ask us to correct data that is inaccurate.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data associated with your device.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Objection — object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests.
Because Park Time has no accounts, we identify data only by the anonymous identifier generated on your device — so to act on a request we may ask you to provide it (you can find it within the app). To exercise any of these rights, email support@parktimeapp.com and we'll respond within one month.
Legal bases. We process this data on the basis of your consent (for push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the app. You can withdraw consent for notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
Complaints. If you have a concern we haven't resolved, you have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority in the EEA.
Children's privacy
Park Time is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted within the app or on this page.
